Advocacy

We believe in the power of mobilizing people in decision-making processes about issues that affect their lives. With our civil society partners, we take a cooperative, restorative approach to advocacy that is self-reflective of our own cognitive biases and intentionally inclusive of different perspectives. Our approach adheres to principles of non-violence, social justice, and human rights with a long-term view of restoring broken, polarized societal relationships and supporting a pluralistic and democratic society. This approach focuses on issues rather than the people for or against them and is centered on interests and mutual gains rather than zero-sum solutions.
