Latin America & the Caribbean

Our work in Latin America &  the Caribbean focuses on strengthening civil society as a strong, independent, and more cohesive sector that can engage effectively with different actors and advocate for positive social and institutional change. We strive to bring different sectors together and help them find common ground despite their differences, tapping into cutting edge methodologies for dialogue, collaboration, and conflict transformation.

Our initiatives in the region, past and present, support:

  • sustainable resource management
  • human rights
  • citizen security
  • access to justice
  • transparency and accountability
  • and municipal governance

Local Partners

Our network of affiliate centers in Latin America includes some of the most respected peacebuilding organizations in the region. Present in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, and Mexico, the Partners Network centers are dedicated to peacefully transforming conflict, promoting multi-stakeholder dialogue and engagement on different topics, and ensuring more inclusive and just societies by protecting civic space.
