Promoting Survivor-Centered Policing in West Africa (2021-2023)

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) or Violence Against Women is prevalent in Nigeria and Senegal and inadequate response mechanisms among the police deny survivors needed access to services and support. This project will produce a comprehensive study that provides data-driven best practice models of policing to improve prevention and response to GBV, in partnership with Partners West Africa Senegal and the Rule of Law and Empowerment Initiative (also known as Partners West Africa Nigeria). For more details, please see the project factsheet below.
