Enhancing Citizen Participation in Building Social Cohesion in Yemen

Together with the International Center for Religion and Diplomacy (ICRD) and Partners Yemen, PartnersGlobal is working to reduce conflict and promote social cohesion by enhancing the capacity of local religious leaders, educators, and civil society in Yemen.

The program engages 500 Yemenis to promote social cohesion as well as bolster existing civil society-led initiatives in local communities, such as identifying early warning signs of violent extremism. Together, we are building collaborative networks of trainers and activists who will continue to put their skills to use well beyond the completion of the project. Partners knows that such local ownership is key to establishing lasting peace across the country.
