Nigeria

NigeriaSub-Saharan Africa's most populous country, Nigeria has wavered between democracy and military regime since independence from Britain.  In 2004 Partners participated in a program with the Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy (CSID) that brought together Nigerian Islamic leaders to discuss democratic principles. Partners designed and facilitated the meeting and brought some Nigerian Islamic leaders to the US to receive training in facilitation.
