Burundi

BurundiIn Burundi, Partners for Democratic Change works with Chemonics International on a USAID-funded policy reform program “Burundi Policy Reform Program” that was developed to foster a more collaborative governance environment for this post-conflict African country. One of the program’s focal points is women’s leadership development, which aims to expose female leaders to new ideas, equip them with new skills and help them develop a clearer vision of how to exercise leadership. Using a hands-on, participatory approach, the program has developed collaborative relations among women leaders within the country and internationally, in addition to training the women in specific conflict management and anti corruption skills.
