Raymond Shonholtz Fellowship for Young Professionals (2013-2017)

The Raymond Shonholtz Fellowship for Young Professionals provided an opportunity to pilot a systematic mentoring program at the regional level within the Partners Network. By administering small grants to young professionals associated with the Partners affiliates, we created an array of mentoring and practical learning opportunities for them. These included exchanges between Centers, observation trips, participation in meetings and conferences, and in-depth research.

  • Four fellows from Argentina, El Salvador, Mexico and Peru took part in various exchanges, where they learned from and reflected in collaboration with each other.
  • Based on the fellows’ experience, PartnersGlobal developed a Mentoring Framework that is informing efforts to develop young professionals throughout our worldwide network to ensure that the next generation is prepared for leadership within the network.
