PDC President Attends the Inspection Génrale d'Etat in Senegal

— filed under:

Julia Roig, the President of Partners for Democratic Change, recently attended an important workshop in Senegal, the Inspection Génrale d'Etat (IGE). The IGE was organized in the image of programs such as DREAT( Delegate of Reform and Technical Assistance to the State) and CNLCC(National Commission against Non-transparency and Corruption) , bringing the concepts of control and oversight to some national institutions steeped in the fields of corruption and transparency. The IGE is one of  the most important institutions in Senegal, counting the President of the Republic as a privileged adviser. The workshop was held at the Meriden Hotel over the course of three days gathering the majority of the General Inspectors under the leadership of the Général Vérificateur who is the chairwoman of this institution. The workshop and its participants developed an action plan for IGE for 2011-2014 with five big strategic domains.
