Partners Executive Director Represented the United States at Rice University's Americas Project Colloquium

Partners Director Julia Roig was invited to participate in the thirteenth Americas Project Colloquium, an event organized by Rice University's James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy in cooperation with the Organization of American States.

This year's program was titled "Beyond the Absence of War: Peace and Stability in the Americas of the XXI Century" and took place from October 8 through October 11 at Rice University in Houston, Texas.  The Colloquium consisted of round-table discussion sessions with topic experts to foster dialogue on key public policy issues affecting the Western Hemisphere. Julia Roig represented the U.S. and collaborated with 14 other participants representing different countries in the Americas to develop a position paper for the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy. The Institute also hopes participants will form a network for continued dialogue about key issues shaping the region.
