Partners-Slovakia launches new initiative

Partners' Center in Slovakia is participating in the Civil Peace Service Campaign 2009.

In preparation for the upcoming elections in Slovakia, Partners-Slovakia is collaborating with several other non-government organizations to promote peaceful policy solutions. The Civil Peace Service Campaign seeks to urge party leaders, parliamentarians and other politicians to include civil peace principles into their party platforms. Hopefully, this interaction will lead to increased discussions between government officials, opposition party members and civil society organizations on approaches that can transform conflicts in peaceful ways.
