U.S. School Mediation Expert Conducts Training of School Administrators and Teachers in Rio de Janeiro with Parceiros Brasil

From January 31st to February 4th 201, Parceiros Brasil – Centro de Processos Colaborativos, in partnership with the Municipal Secretariat of Education of Rio de Janeiro and the support of the U.S. Consulate in Rio de Janeiro, conducted a School Conflict Resolution Training. The workshop was led by Gail Sadalla, a U.S. consultant and internationally renowned expert in school mediation and conflict resolution. Participants included teachers of local municipal schools and 23 Parceiros Brasil trainers. The training was the first step of the implementation of the “Education for Peace” – Project, which is sponsored by Petrobras and the Instituto HSBC Solidariedade.
