Fundación Cambio Democrático
Fundación Cambio Democrático was founded in 1998 as the initial Partners Center to promote change and conflict management in Latin America.
Since then, FCD has worked with representatives of all sectors and implemented innovative models of citizen participation, with the mission of enhancing the capacity of communities for the prevention and democratic transformation of public policies to achieve sustainable human development.
The Center specializes in utilizing Partners’ cooperative planning methodology to engage all stakeholders in implementing and improving upon ineffective public policies, on issues regarding democracy and sustainable development.
Fundación Cambio Democrático seeks to promote good governance and full exercise of democracy, through democratic dialogue and citizen participation, at the national and regional level. The programs FCD promotes in this area of work are:
