Ann Wrobleski

Vice President Global Government Relations for International Paper

Ann WrobleskiAnn Wrobleski is Vice President Global Government Relations for International Paper. Before joining International Paper, Ann served as Vice President, International, at the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA).  She spent the previous nine years in government relations consulting, as chief executive officer of Halliday, Inc., and in executive roles at The Jefferson Group. She was nominated by President Reagan and confirmed by the Senate to serve as Assistant Secretary of State and as the U.S. Representative to a UN organization. She also served in the Reagan White House as Projects Director.  She was press secretary for U.S. Rep. Lou Frey, Jr., and U.S. Sen. Dick Stone, and spokesman for Florida candidate Jack Eckerd.

Wrobleski received her Bachelor of Arts from Stephens College in Columbia, Mo. She serves as trustee emeritus for Stephens College where she also chaired the Board of Trustees for six years.  She serves as Chair of the US Government’s International Trade Advisory Committee on Forest Products, a member of the Board of Directors of the Partners for Democratic Change, a member of the Economic Club of Washington, and was elected to be Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Executive Council on Diplomacy. 

Ann and her husband, Phil Truluck, live in Bethesda, Maryland and have three children.
